A powerful panel discussion took place on the evening of Thursday 19 January at Yellow and Blue on the topic of The importance of diversity in an inclusive society.
Our esteemed panel consisted of Dr Ahmed (Secretary General Muslim Council of Wales), Kartar Singh (Head of Chaplaincy Leicester Hospitals NHS Trust), Gareth Hall (Community Cohesion Officer), Reverend Father Dylan Parry Jones, Abi Lasebikan (Diversity and Inclusion officer at The Senedd) and Diversity and Community Relations Judge Shotter.
Our panel members were excellent.
A huge thank you to the community for amazing engagement and thought provoking questions. What a wonderful overriding message that regardless of faith or no faith, of upmost importance is having the common ground to ensure our neighbour does not go hungry. The ongoing need to raise awareness, more education, dialogue and to the need to listen to one another as well as to encourage open conversations knowing that change is inevitable was evident. Looking forward to continuing the conversation on the role that diversity plays in a modern inclusive society.
